I really found the first season of this show to be unique and riveting. Sadly, it has lost its oomph very quickly and become very like any other crime drama. in this episode, attention has shifted to the personal lives of the detectives and abandoned the in-depth exploration of the victims and defense teams that made the first season so engrossing.
So much has it drifted, that I wound up losing interest and not even watching part 2 of this episode.
Such a bummer.
This is a great series!
The police work is great, very believable compared to most similar programs. And the actors are not movie star-looking, but regular people, which I like. The women don't run around crime scenes in slut pumps and low-cut blouses. The first part of this 2-part season leaves you hanging and wondering. I can't wait to watch the second part!
Intriguing
This is one of my favorite Acorn TV shows. Good story lines and good acting. Can't wait for more free episodes.
