And The Gorilla Turned Out To Be Lou Costello's Partner.....
These are two wonderfully restored classics. Sound and video quality can't be beat! Two of the classics, "Jack and the Beanstalk", and "Africa Screams".
Both programs are lovely restorations with bumbling, hilarious scenes which will have you laughing out loud. "Jack and the Beanstalk" is loaded with superb dancing routines and excellent musical numbers. "Africa Screams" is soooo funny it will have you lying on the floor laughing. Two bumbling idiots make themselves out to be experts on Africa and lion tamers and qualified safari guides. Neither Abbott or Costello know anything about Africa, and it is a hoot to watch them get themselves into one hilarious situation after another. In the end, Livingston, (Costello) becomes famous from his trip to Africa as a great African hunter, and guess who his assistant turns out to be: none other than a gorilla he met in Africa. Really great stuff!!!
I recommend these programs highly. You will want to watch them time and...
Good nostolgia
Good not as funny as I remember, but it was entertaining. If you have never watched, I would reccommend it.
Abbott and Costello are always great
The age of the video shows but they are always a great watch. I still giggle at some of the funniest parts. I've seen these movies over and over.
