Thoughtful, Balanced and Breathtaking
I must give the highest recommendation to the quality of the Wascinski /Minuteman documentary. The vistas of the Arizona borders transmitted in breathtaking colors. The piece was thoughtful and well constructed. One must marvel at the camerawork and photography; while appreciating the balanced approach to a very controversial subject. The documentary presented a thorough analysis of the unspoken consequences of illegal immigration: the loss of entry level jobs for legal entrants and citizens, the environmental consequences of gross littering, the loss of livestock to fence vandalism, deaths, and the narcotics trade.
Wascinski's documentary explores the solitary life of patriots who cloister themselves away from society, because they firmly believe in a principle. The watchdogs of the border are, literally, voices crying in the wilderness. We clearly see and feel the emotions they experience,the frustration, the rewards, the pride.

Take the Good Leave the Bad
Some of the characters in this make you proud to know there doing what there doing. Some of them are simply embarrassing.
An Interesting Look
This will give you an up close and personnel look at some of the people in this group. It's both disturbing and enlightening.
